The Toronto Blue Jays, who hold the best home record in the American Leauge at 21-10, won a crucial road game in Texas behind the red-hot bat of Adam Lind, above. Lind, who is batting .472 over the last 9 games, hit 2 home-runs. Blue Jays slugger Lyle Overbay, who was named AL Player of the week for batting .533 and snapping baseball's best pitcher Zack Grenkie's homerless streak, went 1 for 3 with a walk in the 6-3 victory at Arlington Ballpark. The Blue Jays are just 2 1/2 games behind New York for first in the East.
