PHILLIES RETURN TO WORLD SERIES
The Philadelphia Phillies are Champions of the 2009 National League and are set to face New York or Anahiem in the World Series just one week away. Fans celebrated in the streets of Philly after a 10-4 rout of the Los Angeles Dodgers gave the fighting Phils a 4-1 series win. With the Yankees leading the Angels 3-1 in the ALCS and Game 5 Thursday, New York and Philly could have a long weekend to celelbrate and prepare for an east coast series. The possibility of a Phillies-Yankees World Series has already been labeled as LA's deepest heartbreak, a home run derby, Mets' fans worst nightmare and rebirth of a rivalry.
