PITTSBURGH DEFEATS DENVER
Tyrone Carter took full advantage of a rare start for the Pittsburgh Steelers by returning an interception for a touchdown in a 28-10 win over the Denver Broncos. Carter was handed the chance to start as regular Steelers safety Ryan Clark suffers from a rare blood disorder aggravated at high altitude. Carter finished with two interceptions, returning the first 48 yards for the score. Hines Ward caught two touchdown passes from Ben Roethlisberger as the Broncos suffered a second straight loss following a 6-0 start to the season.
