~STORY OF THE WEEK~DEVILS BEST TEAM IN HOCKEY
The New Jersey Devils have won again. They beat the best team in Hockey 3-1, the Washington Capitals. With one of the best goalies ever to play, the Devils are in sight of far more than another playoff berth. The defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins' winning streak was halted at five games in a 4-0 loss to the New Jersey Monday at Mellon Arena in what was a major milestone game for that goaltender Martin Brodeur. The shutout by Brodeur -- a sure Hall of Famer-- gave him 104 for his career, moving him to the top of the all-time NHL list.
