NOWITZKI PUTS ON SHOW, DELIVERS ELECTRIFYING WIN IN OVERTIME
Dirk Nowitzki hit a 10-foot jumper with 1.8 seconds left in overtime, and the Dallas Mavericks continued their dominance over Charlotte with a 98-97 win over the Bobcats on Saturday night. Nowitzki scored 36 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter and overtime, to help the Mavericks improve to 11-0 all-time against the Bobcats. Nowitzki hit a fadeaway over Boris Diaw from the left elbow, capping a frantic ending where the teams exchanged the lead six times in the final minute. Season ticket holders donated approximately 150 courtside seats to soldiers from Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, making the game all the more special.
