YANKEES MAKE BIG STEAL, NABBING GRANDERSON FROM DETROIT
The plush grass of center field at Yankee Stadium will soon be Curtis Granderson's to roam, as the defending World Series champions were set to acquire the All-Star on Tuesday in a blockbuster three-team trade. The Yankees agreed in principle to obtain the 28-year-old as part of a seven-player deal that also included the D-backs and Tigers, creating a Winter Meetings headliner that had the hotel lobby buzzing all afternoon in Indianapolis.
