PHILLIES ROCKETING TOWARDS POSTSEASON

For the second time in 10 days, Jamie Moyer relieved Pedro Martinez after a rain delay and got the win, tossing 4 1/3 sharp innings. Ryan Howard continued his homer barrage, hitting his 10th and 11th blasts in August and 36th and 37th overall, and Brad Lidge tossed a perfect ninth as the Phillies defeated the Braves at Citizens Bank Park 4-2 for their 74th win of the season. With an exception to the St. Louis Cardinals, there is no team more poised to make the post-season right now than the Phillies.
