BREWERS GOING NOWHERE

The Milwaukee Brewers lost 8-5 to the Cincinnati Reds again Thursday and fell to a dismal fourth place in the National League Central, 12 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals. Despite holding first many times during the first half of the 09 season, Milwaukee has fallen into irrelevance in the playoff chase. They have lost 9 of 12 games and are destined to fall very short of the Wild Card as well.
