MARINERS COMPLETE SWEEP

Luke French pitched well over 5 2/3 frames and David Aardsma held on for his 30th save as the Seattle Mariners swept the A's in Wednesday's 5-3 win. Jack Hannahan scored three times and the Mariners homerd twice. They are now just seven games out of the Wild Card in the American Leauge and could make things very interesting with their recently victorious ways. They have won 8 of their last 11 games.
