~STORY OF THE WEEK~
NEW YORK VS. PHILADELPHIA IT IS
YANKEES DYNASTY MAKES RETURN TO WORLD SERIES
The New York Yankees trumped the Los Angeles Angels, 5-2, in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series to return to the World Series after a six-year wait. Going for their 27th championship ring, the Yankees were aided by several LA Errors Sunday night, avoiding another 3-1-lead-collapse to clinch their 40th pennant. They will host the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday in Game 1 to air worldwide on FOX. New York looks to join the Boston Red Sox in being the only other team to win two titles in the decade, this time under World Series newcomer Joe Girardi. Winning the Series 4-2 gives America it's second straight East coast fall classic.
