TWINS WALK-OFF CHAMPS AFTER BATTLE FOR AGES
The Minnesota Twins are champions of the American League Central and are facing the New York Yankees in the 2009 Division Series. After coming out victorious in their 12 inning 163rd game of the season, the Twins forced the Detroit Tigers out of contention. In the classic see-saw battle, the Twins used home runs, triples and sensational defense to defeat their division rivals. Winning 17 of their last 21 games, the Twins have put the Metrodome into the postseason in its final year as their home.
