PHILADELPHIA STAYS ALIVE
PHILLIES CRUSH BALL, FORCE GAME 6 AS NEW YORK BLOWS LEAD
Chase Utley turned in yet another electric postseason performance
in Game 5, homering twice to drive in four runs and trying Reggie Jackson for the most home runs in the fall classic. With hits from nearly every batter, Philadelphia put to the plate Monday night at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies cruised by New York 8-6 to force a Game 6 in the Bronx Wednesday night. The Yankees lead the series, 3-2 and still need just one win to claim their 27th ring.
