NEW YORK ONE WIN AWAY FROM 27TH TITLE
Returning the favor after the New York Giants got totaled by the Philadelphia Eagles not far from Citizens Bank Park Sunday night, the Yankees took Game 4 7-4, never trailing.Bookending Alex Rodriguez's latest heroics were some by Johnny Damon, who used his head and feet to steal two bags at once. Brad Lidge blew yet another save in 2009 as the Yankees capitalized with three runs to break a 4-4 tie in the ninth. Mariano Rivera shut the door yet again. CC Sabathia threw 6 2/3 innings, keeping his team in the game. With a commanding lead, the New York Yankees are one win away from their 27th World Championship.
