MIRACLE SHOT GIVES LAKERS VICTORY AFTER CLASSIC BATTLE

The Lakers hosted Miami last night and escaped with a stunning win despite trailing late. Down 107-105 with 3.2 seconds remaining, Ron Artest in-bounded the ball to Kobe Bryant, who dribbled for a fleeting second before launching a desperate three-point attempt from well beyond the arc. Despite having Dwyane Wade covering him and getting the shot off with fractions of a second left on the clock, Bryant's attempt crashed off the glass and into the hoop for the shocking victory.
