WITH EVERYONE WATCHING, TEBOW AND GATORS STUN TIGERS
A true Cinderella story. Two weeks after sustaining a concussion, Tim Tebow — and Florida’s swarming defense — silenced L.S.U. Tebow tossed a go-ahead 24-yard touchdown pass in a 13-3 victory that could have been the Gators’ toughest regular-season test. Tebow completed 11 of 16 passes for 134 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also ran for 38 yards. The game broke college football television rating records and stormed a unprecedented media and blog frenzy that shut down over a dozen websites with traffic. The story even overshadowed the Los Angeles Dodgers sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals and advancement into the National Leauge Championship Series.
